CMHA Central Region Mission

CMHA Central is a non-profit organization that strives to be a credible community leader in innovative positive mental health promotion and courageous mental illness awareness by;

1) Leading the way to mentally healthy community.

2) Empowering individuals to improve their their quality of life.

3) Working with individuals and community groups to identify and fill gaps in supports and services.

4) Partenering with other agencies to create a strong web of support for individuals and families struggling with mental illness.

5) Building on our Provincial and National association and relationships to enhance CMHA's impact, role and place in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba and Canada.

Vision

The Canadian Mental Health Association is a voluntary organization which promotes mental health for all Canadians and supports the resilience and recovery of people experiencing mental illness. Through advocacy, education, research, and supportive services, the CMHA works to support healthy communities.
